March 24, 2008

Description:  Unite for Sight Volunteers assist teams in rural villages, refugee camps, and slums. Volunteers are immersed in international health and development programs while providing eye care to patients living in extreme poverty.

Skills & Experience:Volunteers are accepted on a first com first served basis. Although Health and especially eye health specialists are keenly sought volunteers are also needed in broad skill based community outreach centers.

Non-eye care professionals serve as community-based assistants for local eye doctors.
